VL Deck hails from the Edgewood section of Atlanta, GA. Growing up in one of the most notorious neighborhoods in Atlanta known as “Zone 6,” VL Deck speaks to his upbringing through his gritty lyrics and infectious flow that has circulated a buzz around the South over the last six years. After being released from prison in 2012, Deck hit the road on a national tour with Atlanta rapper Young Scooter and has become a staple in the Atlanta trap scene since then. In 2014, he started his own label, Section 8 Entertainment, which has cultivated the careers of other young Atlanta rapper.
Deck has worked with the likes of Future, Young Thug, NBA YoungBoy, and one of Atlanta’s most prominent underground rap labels, Duct Tape Entertainment throughout his career. He has an upcoming mixtape with NBA YoungBoy titled ‘Kane and O’dog.’ His upcoming single featuring Future, is anticipated to release in early 2018. With his gritty street lyrics and raspy flow, Deck is unquestionably the next artist to blow from Atlanta.
