Tia London developed a cult following through a mix of sexy 90’s R&B and modern hip hop in the early 2010’s. She initially captured the hearts of listeners with her singles “Nothing On You”  and one of her most popular “Thinking about It”. Tia London, born Latia Bell on July 22nd 1988 hails from a place many other great musicians are from, the south side of Chicago.

Tia considers herself a song-writer first. It was her song-writing that caught the ear of Grammy nominated producer The Legendary Traxster. Traxster recognized something special and unique about Tia’s voice & songwriting and singed her to his imprint in 2009. The two begin to work on a number of songs one of which landed Tia her first major collaboration with rapper Twista entitled “2012” from his album “The Perfect Storm” in 2010. The two soon after released Tia’s first project entitled “Love Junkie” in 2011 and second “The Overdose”. Almost like a movie and its sequel the two projects documented Tia’s introduction to the beauty of being in love and how it can sometimes become as haunting as an addiction. Despite the ups and downs of Tia’s experiences with love, her and Traxster’s musical and romantic chemistry flourished. In 2015 the two wed and soon after welcomed their first child “Akai King” into their world of music.

During the next year Tia released a number of singles including “The Way That You Love Me” and “Who Better”. In 2016 Ms London not only released 30 singles she recorded for her self-titled project, but an entirely separate project entitled “2:44 am” which is the exact time that she gave birth to her son. “2:44” introduced a more mature and introspective version of Tia than her previous work. In early 2017, Tia and her husband launched a new company “Nothing But Dope” and signed a distribution deal with Priority Records. Tia London is presently readying new music and she plans to continue pouring her life and love into every word she writes.
