Formerly known as Short Dawg, Fre$h was originally signed by Russell Simmons into his Russell Simmons Music Group at a young age, then by Lil Wayne at Young Money. The Houston, TX native who in the past has worked with Ab Soul, Mac Miller and 2 Chainz is ready to break out on his own under his new moniker – and starts with the 2 Chainz assisted banger “Petty.”
