Born in Montgomery, Alabama but discovered while he lived in Atlanta, Georgia, rapper/singer/songwriter Tabius Tate trained with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks before taking his talents to hip-hop. In 2011 he debuted as an MC with the aptly titled mixtape ‘I Am Tabius Tate.’ Two years later he and released “This Ain’t a Muthafu*kin Mixtape” with guest appearances from Gucci Mane and more well known artist. In 2014 he released the single “Kendrick Lamar (The Verb)” along with the less provocatively titled mixtape ‘This Ain’t a Mixtape.’ After revamping his sound, Tabius has focused more on catering to the women with his unique melodic voice over tracks with major bass lines.
