Curtis Lee Baldwin III, better known as KiD3RD, is an artist, songwriter, producer and engineer from Los Angeles. His music has received critical acclaim, having been featured on Revolt, HipHopDX, HotNewHipHop, Sway’s Universe and more. Kid 3rd started writing songs and producing music at 14. His musical influences range from the great Bob Marley to hip hop’s Kanye West, as well as west coast legends BattleCat, JellyRoll, and Blaqthoven. Kid3rd comes from a well- known family of musicians. His grandparents are the legendary Dick Griffey, founder of SOLAR Records and Carrie Lucas who was a soul singer on the SOLAR record label. Kid3rd’s mother is Carolyn Griffey of the R&B musical group Shalamar and his father is Curtis Baldwin, Jr. of the hit TV show “227”.
Kid3rd and his father own RLGG Records, a family owned independent record label. His current single “100” is also in rotation in Los Angeles clubs and radio stations. Kid3rd is also currently touring throughout the west coast with Sahbabii and will also be performing on the “Dub Car Show” tour.
